What is it?
TasCarepoint aims to help people in Tasmania stay in their own home for as long as possible as they age, become frail or their health deteriorates. Through a single phone call, TasCarepoint provides easy access to information about, and referrals for, home and community care services.
Anyone can contact TasCarepoint - those needing assistance themselves or family members, carers, health professionals and other service providers can access its services. TasCarepoint makes access to community care easy. TasCarepoint can help you understand eligibility, which services are needed, and assist in gaining access to those services.
Service Eligibility
People who are frail and ageing, people with a disability including young people with a disability and their carers may be eligible for home and community care services.

Operating Hours
The service operates Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm, excluding public holidays. Faxes and emails may be sent anytime but will be processed during business hours.
