A history of caring

Royal District Nursing Service has a long and proud history of delivering home nursing care.

Since our inception in 1885, the care we deliver has grown to include a wide range of general and specialist nursing services. This means that we are able to care for people experiencing many different sorts of medical conditions, in the comfort of their own homes.

Snapshot of services

The care we provide covers the following areas: aged care, assessment and case management, continence issues, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, haemophilia, HIV/AIDS, personal dare, palliative care, stomal therapy, technical care and wound care. We also provide care to people experiencing homelessness via our Homeless Persons Program.

The care that RDNS provides is delivered by qualified nurses who do so with the highest level of compassion and professionalism.
