General Practice Partnerships
Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) nurses have always worked closely with our clients and their General Practitioners (GPs). We are currently working with GPs and Divisions of General Practice to improve and build upon our existing relationships, which will enable us to provide much more streamlined and coordinated services.
There are a number of different and exciting partnership initiatives being developed. These include RDNS staff participating in education sessions with GPs and their practice staff about health assessment, care planning and case conferencing. GPs also work with RDNS staff to provide health assessments, care planning and case conferencing services as part of the Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS).
Use the email links below to obtain more information about any of the initiatives:

GP Preferred Provider Model
RDNS MBS Model RDNS is currently working with a range of General Practice Divisions throughout Melbourne to develop partnerships that will assist GPs to implement introduced Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS) items.
This will enable RDNS staff to work with GPs to provide health assessments, care planning and case conferencing for our clients.
