WorkHealth provides Victorian workplaces with a voluntary program to promote health and wellbeing to their employees, assisting them to create a more productive workforce.

Each confidential WorkHealth Check is delivered at your workplace by an experienced and professional Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) Nurse. These one-on-one checks take 15 minutes and provide each participating staff member with a confidential overview of their health, particularly their risk of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 Diabetes.

This program is a workplace health initiative funded by WorkSafe Victoria. WorkHealth Checks are free for companies with a payroll of less than $10m per year and substantially subsidised for companies with a larger payroll.

To be eligible for this program, your organisation must be Victorian based, or have Victorian based operations, pay a WorkSafe Injury Insurance premium or be an approved WorkSafe self-insurer.

To arrange WorkHealth Checks, please complete the relevant WorkHealth form. WorkHealth Checks can only be delivered by a WorkSafe endorsed service provider so remember to quote RDNS’ identification number 1009 on your application form.

Once your application has been approved RDNS will be notified as will you. We will then contact you to confirm arrangements for the delivery of the WorkHealth Checks to your staff.

If you would like more information please contact Heather Hollingsworth on 1300 33 44 55 or email
workhealth@rdns.com.au.

Further details can be found on the WorkHealth website. If you are completing forms from the WorkHealth website, please quote RDNS’ identification number: 1009.

The WorkHealth Check is delivered at your workplace in a dedicated private area that ensures both visual and auditory privacy.

Each participating staff member will be asked to complete a short lifestyle questionnaire before having their waist circumference, blood cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar measured.
