WorkHealth provides Victorian workplaces with a voluntary program to promote health and wellbeing to their employees, assisting them to create a more productive workforce.

Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) is an endorsed service provider of the WorkHealth program.

Each confidential WorkHealth Check is delivered at your workplace by an experienced and professional RDNS Nurse. These one-on-one checks take 15 minutes and provide each participating staff member with a confidential overview of their health, particularly their risk of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 Diabetes.

This program is a workplace health initiative funded by WorkSafe Victoria. WorkHealth Checks are free for all companies who select RDNS as their provider.

Organisations with an annual remuneration of less than $10m will receive full reimbursement from WorkSafe for the cost of the WorkHealth Checks, meaning they are free.

Organisations with an annual remuneration of over $10m will be charged $40 for each WorkHealth Check. WorkSafe will reimburse $40 towards the cost of each, meaning the ultimate cost to your organisation will be $0 per WorkHealth check.

To be eligible for this program, your organisation must be Victorian based, or have Victorian based operations, pay a WorkSafe Injury Insurance premium or be an approved WorkSafe self-insurer.

To arrange WorkHealth Checks, please complete this online WorkHealth form. WorkHealth Checks can only be delivered by a WorkSafe endorsed service provider so remember to quote RDNS’ identification number 1009 on your application form.

Once your application has been approved RDNS will be notified as will you. We will then contact you to confirm arrangements for the delivery of the WorkHealth Checks to your staff.

If you would like more information please contact Christine Stella on 1300 33 44 55 or email
