How we are funded

Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) is an independent not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

RDNS receives funding from a number of sources. The majority of our services are funded through the Department of Human Services Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. The funds for this program are provided by both Federal and State Governments, and are supplemented by client fees set by the Department.

Other sources of funding include fee for services programs which pay for services based on individual service agreements, donations, bequests, sponsorships, corporate partnerships and fundraising.

RDNS is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient organisation (No. 900 304 335) and is registered as an Income Tax Exempt Charity.
