Trusts and Foundations play an important role in the provision of best practice nursing care to our clients.
There are many ways in which your Trust or Foundation can help us, including:
- Supporting a specific research project
- Providing suburban RDNS centres with essential training equipment
- Supporting the RDNS Homeless Persons Program through many of their important projects
- Supporting our client care programs that range from the provision of material aid to the needy through to culturally and linguistically diverse health education programs.

Case Study: The Pam and Alfred Lavey Trust, Equity Trustees, help improve the lives of the homeless.
Now in its seventh year, the partnership between the Pam and Alfred Lavey Trust and the RDNS Homeless Persons Program has been exceptionally successful in providing nutritional support to homeless people who are hungry or malnourished.
This support provides tangible benefits to clients through the provision of meals, nutritional supplements and/or food vouchers, which, in conjunction with the healthcare provided by our nurses is instrumental in helping clients on the road to recovery.
"As Trustee of the Pam and Alfred Lavey Trust, Equity Trustees is proud to be a long-standing supporter of RDNS' vital and successful Nutritional Support Program for the homeless people. So important is the association that it is a requirement for all philanthropy services staff at Equity Trustees to accompany an RDNS nurse for a day to witness the valuable work of the program in addressing malnutrition in such a vulnerable group."
