Health Education for the Community - a proud tradition at RDNS

Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) is Australia's premier home healthcare service, providing nursing care and a huge range of specialist services to more than 33,213 clients and 581,503 hours of care during 2009.

Since the 1960s, we have delivered quality education and training to thousands of people working in a diverse range of settings, including schools, residential care facilities, nursing homes, hostels, municipal councils and community groups.

Today, a mobile team of educators and sessional teachers from the RDNS Helen Macpherson Smith Institute of Community Health continues this tradition of sharing its health expertise with the wider public.
