Anyone can be referred to RDNS and we accept referrals from any source. You can phone us yourself, or be referred by a family member or carer. General practitioners, hospitals and other healthcare providers can also refer clients.

If you are in a major hospital, an RDNS hospital 'liaison' nurse (District Nurse - Liaison) can help arrange your home nursing care and make sure your discharge goes smoothly. RDNS hospital liaison nurses are available at many public hospitals. Ask the hospital staff to arrange a visit from the RDNS liaison nurse.
